Reflection
This report which (like Men and their Children) caused quite a stir, influenced the Labour government to describe fathers in less punitive terms when revamping the Child Support legislation. It did not, however, influence them to change the balance of parenting after divorce to substantially more of a 'shared care' model, doing away with the idea of 'MacDonalds Dads.'
